Abstract
A thin semi-infinite layer of a non-magnetic dielectric material is modelled using a combination of resistive and (modified) conductive sheets, and for the problem of a plane wave at skew incidence on the resulting half-plane, the exact solution is determined by the Wiener-Hopf technique. The far zone diffracted field is then derived and expressed in the form of an edge diffraction tensor. Keywords
