Abstract
Recent extensions of the EMPIRE-II code system are presented These include link to the Coupled Channels code ECIS, second chance preequilibrium emission, Monte Carlo preequilibrium (HMS), width fluctuations (HRTW), improvements in the 7-ray strength functions, link to the omp segment of RIPL, calculation of recoil spectra, and possibilities to plot angular distributions, energy spectra and double differential cross sections using PLOTC4 and/or ZVView package. The emphasis is on the validation of the code through comparison with experimental data and recent application to nuclear data evaluation. Keywords
