Abstract
Malignant penitoneal mesothelioma is a rare neoplasm which arises from the penitoneal lining of the abdomen. It usually occurs in middle-aged men and is thought related to asbestos exposure. In a series of 392 mesotheliomas col- lected from single sources, 65% were primary to the pleura, 33% primary to the penitoneum, and 2% primary to both locations (1 1.This case is the first to correlate the computed tomography (CT), sonography, and gallium examinations of a patient with primary penitoneal mesothelioma.Keywords
