Transient analysis of waveguides with curved boundaries

Abstract

The transmission-line-matrix method of numerical analysis is modified to allow boundary points to fall anywhere between nodes on the mesh. Results are obtained for circular and elliptical waveguide cross-sections on a cartesian mesh.
