Abstract
The distribution in angle of the protons from the deuteron-deuteron reaction has been measured with a gas target over a range of bombarding energy from 60 to 390 Kev. The results are representable by in which is the angle which the proton's velocity makes with the direction of the deuteron beam as measured in the center-of-mass coordinate system and is the number observed per unit solid angle at . The value of is found to be markedly dependent on bombarding energy.
