Neutralizing Antibody Response against Human Cytomegalovirus in Allogeneic Bone Marrow–Transplant Recipients

Abstract
We read with great interest the paper by Schoppel et al. [1] in which they reported that high titers of antibodies to individual cytomegalovirus (CMV) glycoproteins (including those inducing neutralizing antibodies [NA]) in response to viral replication are associated with the survival of allogeneic bone marrow—transplant (BMT) recipients with CMV disease [1].
