Abstract
Bio-engineering is the attempt to apply ideas and methods of engineering to the study of structure and function in the human body. The ultimate purpose of this study is the development of mechanical devices to help in the treatment of disease and the replacement or reinforcement of defective organs and systems in the body.Keywords
