Abstract
SYNOPSIS.: The literature on the coccidia of the coypu Myo‐ castor coypus Mol is reviewed. Four species of Eimeria have been described in these animals: E. seideli, E. myopotami, E. pellucida and E. coypi. The description of E. coypi is similar to E. myopotami in every respect, except for a little variation in size of the sporocyst It is therefore proposed to consider this species synonymous with E. myopotami, Two new species of Eimeria, E. myocastori sp. now and E. nutriae sp. nov. are now described from the coypu, naturalised n England in England. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
