Abstract
The intracellular distribution of the enzymes of the glycerol cycle in the unicellular alga Dunaliella parva was investigated using the technique of differential extraction by the polycation DEAE-dextran. Results suggest a cytoplasmic localization of the DHA reductase, but a chloroplastic localization of the glycerol-3-phosphate dehydrogenase and phosphatase.
