Abstract
A previous analysis of noise propagation along a drifting electron beam with a half‐Maxwellian distribution of velocities is specialized here to apply to the case of excitation by a signal current. The computed wave patterns that result are shown to be in quantitative agreement with those measured by Mihran.This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
