Abstract
The technique of renal revascularization using a saphenous vein bypass graft from the superior mesenteric artery is described. This operation was performed for the correction of renal artery stenosis in 4 patients with atherosclerotic aortic occlusion. When the requisite conditions are present, mesenterorenal bypass offers a safe and effective method of renal revascularization. It is preferable to aortic replacement in selected patients. This publication has 10 references indexed in Scilit:
