Abstract
Organ donor availability is the major limiting factor in pediatric liver transplantation, and many children succumb from their liver disease before a suitable donor can be found. In an attempt to overcome this shortage, reduced‐size liver transplantation, split liver transplantation, and living‐donor liver transplantation have been introduced. The eventual role of these techniques will be determined by accumulated experience over the next several years. This publication has 14 references indexed in Scilit:
