Abstract
The Lifshitz function Φ(ε10, ε20) is evaluated numerically over a wide range of static dielectric constants (ε10, ε20) of the interacting bodies. This function enables the calculation of the van der Waals interaction force between two macroscopic bodies separated by short distances under certain restrictive conditions as to distance of separation and temperature.Keywords
