Abstract
Means of the social desirability ratings of items in Singer's Daydreaming Questionnaire correlated .41 with the mean response to those items. It was suggested that this moderate rather than high correlation may be due to the attenuated distribution of responses to items of the questionnaire and/or to the lack of agreement regarding the social acceptability of daydreams. Keywords
