Abstract

A

T = \frac{1}{2}

resonance in

{}^{3}{He}

has been observed in the inelastic scattering of 63.7-MeV

α

particles by

{}^{3}{He}

. The resonance is centered at 20.4±0.3 MeV excitation and has a width of 3.4±0.4 MeV.
