Abstract
The commonly used nitration colorimetric method for urgent paracetamol estimation suffers from interference by salicylates and salicylamide. This communication describes a simple modification which eliminates this interference without affecting either the recovery or precision of the method. The results obtained were briefly compared with those obtained by an established gas chromatographic procedure. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
