Abstract
Different types of dysfunctional voiding are described and correlated with psychological characteristics and sexual dysfunctions. Motoric as well as sensoric urge incontinence seems to be more frequently associated with psychological problems than stress incontinence and a psychosomatic therapy often results in cure without any surgery. A multidisciplinary approach to the problem is stressed. Keywords
