Abstract
The complement system of the nurse shark was investigated. Six functionally pure components were isolated from a single serum sample. Sequential reactions of the components with sensitized sheep erythrocytes resulted in membrane lesions indistinguishable from the "holes" caused by guinea pig complement. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
