SU3instantons with cylindrical symmetry

We exhibit a new class of ${\mathrm{O}}_3$-symmetric, irreducible self-dual instanton solutions in S${\mathrm{U}}_3$. The solutions have Pontryagin indices $k=6l-4\mathrm{}$ ($l=1, 2, \dots$) and depend on $\frac{\mathrm{}(k+4\mathrm{})\mathrm{}}{3}$ parameters.
