Abstract
Cyclophane, Konformationsanalyse, Nitril-Gruppe, Protonenresonanz, Sterische Wechselwirkungen The bridged aromatic compounds 1-3 with internally projecting nitrile groups have been prepared. The cyclophanes 1 and 3 are conformationally rigid due to steric hindrance of the inner cyano groups; 2 shows partial conf ormational mobility.
