Fundamental absorption edge of and crystals

Abstract
The measured evolution of the fundamental absorption edge in mixed (0≤x≤1) indicates that it is dominated by the weakly forbidden ‘‘atomiclike’’ 6→6s6p → ) transition peaked at hν=5.7 eV.
