Synthesis and Quality Control of 2.6-Diisopropyl IDA and its Labelling with Technetium-99m

Abstract
A procedure is described for synthesis of 2.6-diisopropyl IDA (DISIDA) and for preparation of radiopharmaceutical labelled with 99mTe by “INSTANT TECHNIQUE”. The synthesized compound was identified by IR- and NMR-spectroscopy as well as by elemental chemical analysis. The principal physicochemical parameters affecting the formation of the complex of Sn(II) with DISIDA have been determined. Radiochemical purity of the labelled complex was found to be above 95%. Investigation of biodistribution shows that this radiopharmaceutical is a good hepatobiliary reagent, e.g. it shows high transport rate through hepatocytes, high excretion index and fast transport through the biliary channels.
