Abstract
In severely displaced fractures of the tibial condyles, failure of the method of fixation may lead to disappointing results of open reduction operations. This problem may be successfully and safely treated by using methylmethacrylate (MMC) for internal fixation. In this series 6 of 7 cases achieved an acceptable result of fixation with MMC. This compares favorably to published series of fractures of this type treated by open reduction. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
