Abstract
Data pooled from three individual trials, with average stable fly populations of 2.58, 5.21, and 7.07 per leg, indicated a significant reduction in weight gains and a decrease in feed efficiency among feedlot cattle. Graphs of pooled data and previously reported data, converted to percentage loss on a per fly basis, indicated the economic threshold for stable flies (cost of treatment versus number of flies)is less than two stable flies per leg on feeder heifers. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
