Abstract
Summary Criteria for distilled water suitable for microbiological use are discussed with some observations on biological and chemical contaminants. An expanded description of a suitability test for distilled water based on growth response of Aerobacter aerogenes in a minimal medium is reported and selected examples of its application are given.Keywords
