Abstract
Both positive and negative mode plasma chromatographic spectra have been obtained for the ortho, meta, and para isomers of dihalogenated benzene. The positive mode spectra illustrate the effect of isomeric substitution upon the drift time of ions in the plasma chromatograph. As the size of the substituent increases, the difference in mobility between the ortho and meta isomers increases. In the negative mode spectra, only the halogen ion is detected.
