Abstract
Candida tropicalis strain 101 possesses a hydroxylase system when grown on tetradecane as the carbon source which is active towards hydrocarbons and fatty acids. This system including cytochrome P450 and NADPH-cytochrome c reductase has been localized exclusively in the microsomal fraction. Keywords
