Parasites Recovered from Six Species of Utah Lizards

Abstract
The lizards were collected from the Great Salt Lake Desert region. All but 1 species contained parasites. Host species and the parasites recovered from each were: Phrynosoma platyrhrinos; Cestoda, Oochoristica phrynosomatis Harwood; Nematoda, Skriabinoptera phrynosoma Ortlepp, and species each of Pharyngodon and Monhysterides Crotaphytus collaris baileyi Physaloptera obtusissima in the stomach. C. wislizenii; a species of Monhysterides in the iliocecal region. Sceloporus occidentalis longipes Physaloptera retusa in the stomach. Cnemidophorus tigris tigris; Pharyngodon werneri in iliocecal region and a species of Angusticeacum in the intestine.This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
