Abstract
The pharmocokinetics of oxprenolol [a .beta.-blocker] were studied in young and healthy elderly volunteers. Drug concentrations in plasma and urine were measured after a single 80-mg dose of oxprenolol and again after repeated administration (80 mg twice/day) for a period of 1 wk. Evidently, multiple dosing does not result in oxprenolol accumulation in either group and age has no effect on the pharmacokinetics of this drug. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
