Abstract
Larval trematode infections in the common east coast mud snail collected from the low-tide zones of the Greenwich Bay, R.I. mud flats were investigated over a period of 9 months, from October to June. The infection rate, which was low in autumn and winter, showed a marked rise in early spring, then gradually diminished reaching the autumn-winter rate by early, summer. Tide-pool snails collected during the spring months showed a higher infection rate than those collected from low-tide zones. Keywords
