Abstract
Thermoanalytical techniques (DTA and DTG), chemical, and X-ray diffraction methods have been combined to study the course of oxidation of synthetic iron pyrites; pyrites is oxidised directly to ferrous sulphate, and no intermediate pyrrhotite is formed.Keywords
