Abstract
Patients having a severe anaphylactic reaction must be promptly identified. Airway compromise, significant broncho-spasm, or vascular collapse may ensue unless they receive immediate and appropriate medical attention. Follow-up, documentation of details of the reaction, and exhaustive efforts to determine the precipitating factor are also important aspects in the subsequent safety of such patients. Dr Sim addresses all these issues and provides practical treatment and prevention plans. Keywords
