Abstract
Gas-liquid chromatography is a sensitive technique for the analysis of pentazocine in biological samples. Dose for dose, the concentration in blood and the urinary excretion rate of pentazocine are much lower after oral administration than after intravenous administration. The recovery of the unchanged drug in faeces is low whether it is given by mouth or intravenously. Keywords
