Abstract
Cryptococcus gattii emerged in 1999 in a distinct ecologic environment on Vancouver Island, Canada. Estimates of incubation period were derived from an analysis of travelers with discreet exposures to this region. Individual case incubation periods ranged from 2 to 11 months, with a median of 6 to 7 months. Keywords
