Abstract
The electroreduction behaviour of anthracene and some of its derivatives on poly(vinylferrocenium) coated Pt electrodes was investigated and compared with that on uncoated Pt surface using' cyclic voltammetry in acetonitrile/0.1 M TBAP solutions. The changes occurring in the structure of the film after the electrode reactions were followed by IR spectroscopy and DSC measurements. Catalytic reduction of the anthracene derivatives occur when electrode reactions were carried out on the coated surface. Keywords
