Abstract
Multispectral thermal infrared imagery has been acquired during a night-time airborne survey in Southern California. The imagery emphasizes emissivity variations of the surface rocks. Comparison with the available geological data indicates that such imagery can be a useful tool in the revision and refinement of geological maps. Keywords
