Abstract
Young barred rock chickens showed normal levels for the usual blood constituents as follows: NPN 38.5 mg./100 ml., urea 19.6 mg./lOO ml., glucose 171.6 mg./lOO ml., cholesterol 217.4 mg./lOO ml., serum protein 4.03 mg./lOO ml. The cholesterol levels were relatively low in both sexes from the 11th-14th wks. and then started to rise, especially in pullets.Keywords
