Abstract
In 17 patients recovering from acute tubular necrosis overhydration was prevented during the oliguric period by daily peritoneal dialysis. Daily urine volumes in excess of 21 were noted for up to 2 weeks after recovery from oliguria. Reduced renal concentrating ability persisted for up to 10 months. Keywords
