Temperature Dependence of Conductivities and Ion-Association Constants of Potassium Sulfate in Water

Abstract
From the temperature dependence of the ion-association constants between K+ and SO42− at 0 to 50 °C, the contact ion-pair formation and short-range interactions are discussed while considering the hydration of the anion. The limiting molar conductivities of SO42− are expressed as a cubic equation of the temperature.
