Abstract
The results of many careful experiments by different observers in the course of the past few years have shown that electrical resistance thermometers afford the most accurate and convenient method of measuring temperature through a very wide range. The object of the following paper is to illustrate a method of reducing the indications of such thermometers to the absolute scale of temperature by means of a single observation at some known fixed point in addition to 0° and 100° C.Keywords
