Abstract
This paper describes composition and process ing of several building (specifically roofing) materials that utilize major percentages of bagasse filler. The products that we developed are: Bagasse-Phenolic (BP), Bagasse-Rubber (BR), Bagasse-Thermoplastics (BT), Oriented Bagasse- Phenolic (OP), Random Bagasse-Phenolic (RP), Bagasse- In-Situ Generated Resin (BI), and Clay-Phenolic (CP). These products were specifically developed for the developing na tions of the world but can be economically manufactured in the developed countries. Keywords
