Abstract
A case of chondrosarcoma of the left antro-ethmoid region and nasal septum is presented as a second primary malignant tumour in a patient who had undergone a previous excision of a rodent ulcer in the cheek. X-ray studies and multiple biopsies of the nasal cavity were undertaken to determine as accurately as possible the extent of the tumour. The tumour was excised via a lateral rhinotomy. Chondrosarcoma of the maxillofacial region is a rare tumour. The treatment of choice is by surgical excision. Radiotherapy may be considered in non-resectable or recurrent tumours. Keywords
