Paroxysmal nocturnal haemoglobinuria with renal, infective and immunological abnormalities

Abstract
Summary: An elderly woman presented with paroxysmal nocturnal haemoglobinuria complicated by renal failure which was almost completely reversible. The illness was further complicated by a transient cerebral ischaemic attack and a chest infection with septicaemia due to Pseudomonas aeruginosa from which she died.
