DELAYED SEXUAL-MATURATION IN FEMALE C57BL-6J MICE PRENATALLY EXPOSED TO ALCOHOL

Abstract
Prenatal exposure of mice to alcohol during days 5-11 of gestation resulted in delayed sexual maturation as measured by the time of vaginal opening. Data from some of these mice suggest that vaginal epithelial differentiation may also be altered. Human applications are considered.
