Abstract
A description is given of a data acquisition system using a TKO BOX as a front-end system and FASTBUS as an online data transfer bus for TRISTAN experiments. The TKO system features reliable front-end electronics at low cost. Good ground isolation between the front-end system and FASTBUS is the key for noise reduction. The system is used for the VENUS detector. The maximum data transfer rate between TKO and FASTBUS is 700 K words per second, and the error rate is less than one per 100 million words. Keywords
