Kidney transplantation—transplant survival after planned HLA‐A and ‐B matched blood transfusions

Abstract
Twenty non‐transfused dialysis patients received a small number of HLA‐A and ‐B matched pre‐transplant leukocyte‐poor blood transfusions. Currently, in 10 of these patients transplanted with a cadaveric kidney, graft survival at 3 months is 89%.Keywords
