Abstract
Constant resonant LC circuit components incorporated into a high-voltage HF transformer and input-side equivalent capacitance of high-voltage feeding cable as DC output smoothing filter are discussed. This parallel resonant converter with X-ray tube load is analyzed through computer-aided simulation. Its voltage regulation characteristics in steady-state and the dynamic performances are illustrated with a generic method and discussed. The operating characteristics of series and parallel resonant-tank converter topologies are discussed.<>Keywords
