Abstract
A survey of the practice styles and preferences of 1988 ASCRS members with a U.S. zip code was taken in September 1988. A total of 3,662 questionnaires were mailed and over 46% (1,687) were returned prior to the November 1, 1988, cutoff date. Three main profile questions were used to cross analyze the results. These profile questions were age of the ophthalmologist, volume of cataract surgery per month, and geographic location. The following is a report on the survey with comparisons to previously published surveys of the ASCRS membership. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
