Abstract
High speed trains are becoming an increasingly common mode of transport, and one of their advantages is the range of services which can be offered on board. The aim of the ACTS project MOSTRAIN was to address the challenges of providing the full range of UMTS services to high speed trains for the travelling public, as well as allowing for train control and signalling applications. Part of this process was to examine a number of different options for an architecture for providing such services. This paper describes the demonstrator to test these various options. Keywords
