Abstract
Terminal subcultures from 5354 negative BACTEC blood (human) culture bottles did not significantly improve the detection of positive (bacterial) cultures. Only 15 of the 545 total isolates were recovered from the terminal subcultures. All 15 of these isolates were either considered contaminants or were previously detected. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
